Help on Custom Corpus
Custom Corpus provides users with the parameters such as language, dialect, text type, genre, domain, and display method.
1. Mode
By default, the text search is All on ethnic languages. In practice, you may want to select one single ethnic language and its dialect, and then view the result page.
2. Genre
By default, the genre of the text is All. In practice, you may want to select one of the listed genres shown on the page (eg., folktale, narrative, etc)
3. Display Method
By default, the display method is All. That is, you choose to view the Original data (raw data) and Re-analyzed data (edited data) alike. In practice, you may want to select either one to show the specific display.
4. Search Method
You can choose one item from the pull-down list box. For example, you can choose to browse the text or perform the keyword search through the corpus.
Finally, you confirm your selection by clicking the Search button or just clear the text fields by clicking the Reset button.
